About Us | Giffoni Hollywood Film Festival

Giffoni Hollywood is the brainchild of Steven Paul (CS Chairman). Both Steven and actor Jon Voight have been active supporters of the Giffoni Film Festival (Italy's largest children's film festival) for many years and recently decided to bring a piece of Giffoni to Los Angeles.

Giffoni Hollywood brings the spirit and enterprise of the original Italian-based festival, while also creating a unique and innovative cinematic experience that could only be had in the heart of Hollywood. The Film Festival reaches out to a new generation, and the judges and jury is comprised of three age groupings: 9-11, 12-14, and 15-17 year olds. By sharing Hollywood's magic through the voice of today's leading actors, directors, producers, studio executives, writers, and all other key players involved in the movie-making process, the festival inspires and unites children of all ages.

Giffoni Hollywood features film emphasizing stories made by or influenced by today's youth, including: features, shorts, and documentaries. The programming and events offer the children and teens an unprecedented insight into the business and art of filmmaking. Workshops, seminars, demonstrations, tours and conferences are provided to the participants and ensure an experience that is uniquely Hollywood.
